After their great performance in Nenagh two weeks ago Rearcross came into this came hoping to get their first win of the season. Unfortunately Rea met a very strong and impressive Lough Derg team and were completely out played by the lake siders. Lough Derg took an early lead and never looked back as they grabbed eight goals to put the result beyond doubt. Rearcross did pull one goal back through Sean Fahy who took his chance very well after being brought on to score his first goal for Rearcross FC; a welcome achievement on a day of disappointment for all involved with Rearcross FC.
